Compuerto Dam (Palencia)

This is one of a series of collections of photographs of dams in loving memory of my grandfather, D. Luis Díaz-Caneja Pando, a remarkable civil engineer who devoted his life to his profession and family. He was involved in the design, construction and/or maintenance of these dams to a greater or lesser degree and some of them are part of my summer childhood memories. The whole set includes the following dams: Aguilar de Campoo, Cervera/Ruesga, Camporredondo, Compuerto y La Requejada.
